Who else thinks Nascar is redundant and pointless to watch?
I will watch the last 5 laps but there's no way I'll watch all 500. I would go insane!

The "500" is miles not laps and there are 400 and 300 mile races also. There is alot of strategy and endurance involved with the races. You should really give it a fair chance and you really should see one in person.

I've been to the Daytona 500 with my Aunt when I was like 10 and I hated it.

I have never been, but I have heard that it is one of the funnest sporting events to see in person... When you are 10, you can't take your shirt off, sit on the top of your RV, cook polish sausage, and drink Blue Ribbon Beer while yelling "Get 'em Dale!! Blow by that fag Gordan!!" That, my friend is my definition of fun!! (sarcasm)

Not all Arkansans get off on that crap. It's like basktball and soccer...all I want to see are the 10 second highlights on Sportscenter. I'm not going to watch the whole thing.
